Review: MAC Paint Pot Painterly

I received a MAC Paint Pot a week ago which was send by Mitchin. Thank you so much for this product Mitchin ^_^! I had never used a paint pot before, but I had read lots of good reviews about it :) and it's time for me to try this product out. I'm using the paint pot for almost 2 weeks now and I have to say that I'm quite satisfied with it.
What is it?
On the MAC website it says that it's a highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without weight or caking. Blends smoothly over the lids. Cream-based, can be mixed with M·A·C shadows and liners.

What can you do with it?

You can use it as an eyeshadow base (a primer) or you can use it to even out your eyelid color. I'm using it as an eyeshadow base :).

Price
One paint post cost €18,50, which is quite expensive. I think that you can use it at least 8 months if you apply it every day, you don't need much when applying. This comes in many shades and it´s sold in all MAC stores.

Packaging
I like the simple packaging of MAC which is black and white. The cap is black and the cream is in a small glass pot. This product can dry out so you always have to put the cap back on or turn the bottle over on a surface to prevent it from air exposure.

Texture
It is creamy, matte but also a bit sticky. I usually apply it with my ring finger.

Amount
5 g / 0.17 fl oz

Color
The color of this paint pot is painterly, which is a nude beige color- its quite pale as you can see on my ring finger. It looks a bit orange on my hand but it matches the color of my eyelids xD. (My hands are a bit more pale than my face.)

With and without paint pot
This is a swatch of an eyeshadow with and without the MAC paint pot base. The one with the paint pot comes out more intense. It doesn't matter anymore if your eye shadows aren't pigmented enough ^^, just apply this as your base and the color will be more visible. (It doesn't matter which eyeshadow brand you use.)
Pros:
- Easy to apply
- Makes blending more easily
- Makes the eye shadow more vibrant
- Even works with cheap eye shadows
- Easy to remove with makeup remover
- Dries fast
- Lasts quite long even on my oily eyelids.

Cons:
- High price
- Not very hygienic to apply it with your finger all the time, I know that there is a special MAC brush for this, but I actually think that it will stick on the brush =S
