Bourjois Paris has a new collection which is called Paris Sucré. It's a collection which is inspired by all the nice sweets that you can get in Paris, like macaroons, cupcakes and ice cream. You will find a lot of pastel colors in this collection which will make you think of Spring! I can't wait until the sun is shining again! I recently received two nail polishes of the Paris Sucré collection which is #25 and #26, today you will see some swatches of these nail polishes.
Description
Painting your nails is now hassle-free! The 10 DAYS nail enamel contains a chip resistant pro-silicium formula and a precise angled touch-up brush for a flawless chip-free manicure with a quick and easy application. The pro-silicium formula acts as a protective barrier to protect nails from chipping and makes them 2x as strong.
Price and Where to buy?
These are sold for €8,50 each and can be bought at drugstores such as Etos and Douglas in The Netherlands.
Packaging
The two colors are very cute and great for Spring. Like all other nail polishes you just need to twist the cap open. One thing which is different from other nail polishes is that you will hear a *click* sound when you've closed the cap. By this, you will be SURE that you've closed the cap correctly. Nail polishes can dry out when the cap isn't closed correctly so it's great that they added that.
Brushes
"The brush has been specially designed for a 2-way use. Wide and angled, it perfectly adapts to the nail shape, for an even application from the very first stroke. Its slanted tip allows you to touch up with ease leaving no marks or chips." - Bourjois Paris. This is totally true! I'm loving the brush since it's very easy to use. Because the brush is angled, you can reach every corner with it and you can polish your nails neatly as well. This is by far the BEST nail polish brush that I've tried in my life.
Swatches
I just L-O-V-E the shiny finish! It's gorgeous! I only applied one layer in the pictures below and it already gives a great coverage. It's slightly streaky when applying one layer, but if you put another layer you won't see that anymore. First I will show you some swatches of the nail polish #25 which is a lovely pastel pink color. After that you will see some swatches of #26 which is a cute purple nail polish. It's such a pity that these nail polishes don't have names =/.
My opinion: Does it really stays for 10 days without chipping?
No it doesn't.. It started to chip after 3 days. I'm at day 5 now and the nail polish is still shiny so that's a plus! I'm loving the brush, packaging and the color of the nail polishes. You must try the brush if you got the chance, it's great ^___^! These are available in 12 shades from natural tones to classical reds and fashion trendy bright colours. Go to their website to check out the other shades: bourjois.com.
ahh sucks that they aren't actually chip-free for the whole 10 days! oh well at least they still look super neat, and the colours they come in are nice as well. I might check out Bourjois nps- for the sake of that angled brush lol!!
