While I was in Milan, Italy I purchased a few nail polishes at KIKO Cosmetics. KIKO Cosmetics is an Italian professional cosmetics brand that features a range of cutting-edge makeup, face and body treatments. It was my first time there and it's such a pity that there is no KIKO in The Netherlands T___T. They had so many nice nail polishes and make up, I just couldn't choose.. I eventually just purchased two nail polishes which I really liked and I'm going to show you one of them in this blogpost. For today's NOTD I've used some Nail Studs from BornPrettyStore.com. You've probably seen my previous blogpost where I used different kind of nail studs right? Don't know what I'm talking about..please check the blogpost here.
Description
In this blogpost I've used the KIKO Nail lacquer #389. It's a nail polish with hardening and strengthening action. The texture gives an extreme lacquered shine and an ideal level of fluidity for perfect control and great ease of application. The studs that I used are round, gold and are 2mm, a perfect size I would say.
Price
I bought the nail polish for €2.50 in the KIKO store. The studs can be purchased at Bornprettystore: see link and it's sold for $5.90 per bag. One bag will last for a couple of months, since there are a lot of studs in it. It depends how often you use them ofcourse. Don't forget to use my coupon code to get 10% off: MDJ61!
Packaging & Brush
It has a great brush which doesn't make the nail polish streaky. It's easy to apply, but you do need two coats to create a nice finish.
Swatches
It's a gorgeous color, I just can't take my eyes off my nails o.o L-O-V-E IT! I applied two coats of nail polish in the pictures below.
With the studs
I'm just loving the studs! It looks awesome! I used nail glue to put these studs on my nails and I applied a top coat afterwards. The studs didn't fall off easily and this nail polish stayed un-chipped for 2-3 days. After the third day it started to chip =(. Would you like to try these studs as well?
