You've probably seen this collection while walking near the Louis Vuitton stores. Marc Jacobs recently collaborated with Yayoi Kusama, the Japanese artist known for her polka dot motif. Louis Vuitton delivers a collection with her signature decoration to the worldwide LV stores. Kusama's signature dots will appear on everything from trench coats to jewelry. Another assortment of products, combining Vuitton's monogram leather goods and Kusama's "nerves" design, will arrive in October. I have created a Yayoi Kusama inspired nail art and in todays blogpost I will show you how to create it, lets check it out!
Step 1: Apply a base coat and let it dry.
Step 2: Apply a yellow nail polish, I've used a nail polish from Catrice: Don't feed the birds and let it dry.
Step 3: Create large polka dots with a dotting pencil in the middle of each nail.
Step 4: Create small polka dots with a toothpick or a smaller dotting pencil next to the large ones.
Step 5: Afterwards, apply a top coat and voila you are done ;).
A few items of the collection, see picture below. To be honest, its not a collection which i really love and would buy. However, I do admire Yayoi Kusama with her energy of creating this collection, I mean she's 83 years already o.o!
OMG this is so cool! thanks for sharing!
