The Holika Holika B.B. Deep Cleansing Oil is a low stimulating cleansing oil that heals dermatitis inside pores, it moisturizes and nourishes. This cleanser gently releases blackheads and whiteheads from pores for a clearer complexion. Formulated with olive oil, argan oil and Harrogate water. The olive oil ingredient increases skin elasticity and regenerate new skin cells, while argan oil heals tissue (scars), acts as an anti-inflammatory, is effective as a sun-protectant and has disinfectant properties. Harrogate water is mineral enriched and aids in healing skin ailments by reducing itchiness and redness.

DIRECTIONS
Put 3-4 pumps in your hand and massage all over your face while it's dry. It's recommended to massage your face with the oil for at least 30 minutes. The longer the better. Afterwards, rinse your face with lukewarm water.
THE REASON WHY I WANTED TO TRY THIS
The reason why I wanted to try this product is because of Janie Wang from Pretty&Cute who mentioned it on her facebook and said that it is an amazing product (see picture below). In the Facebook comment you can see that she massaged her face for 1,5 hours and she noticed that her white & black heads literally fell onto her hands. I was super curious if this product really worked so that's the reason why I wanted to try this product.

PACKAGING
The product comes with a pump which dispenses the amount of product that you wish. I recommend to clean the opening after every usage since the oil will remain there. Therefore I don't think this product is travel friendly enough.

SCENT
The funny thing about the product is the scent. It really smells like Japanese soda. It has a very sweet scent that not everybody might like, but i think it's ok. It's not overwhelming and it doesn't bother me actually. I'm actually a Japanese soda lover so that's why haha.
INGREDIENTS
There is no ingredient list on the packaging of the product, so I had to search it up on the Holika Holika website. Ingredient list: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate, Polybutene, Water, Hexyldecyl Myristoyl Methylaminopropionate, Butylene Glycol, Mineral Water, Propylene Glycol, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Extract, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Propyl Paraben.
PUTTING IT TO THE TEST
Most girls are using cleansers as a make up remover as well and I'm not an exception. Although I remove my eye make up separately, I know that some of you removes their foundation and eye make up at the same time. I'm putting it to the test below. I applied a bit of foundation, bobbi brown gelliner and my deep black k-palette onto my hand and i added a few drops of cleansing oil. I used circular motions to remove the make up, after a while I added a bit of water and did it again. After rinsing it off with lukewarm water I could still see my k-palette eyeliner, which means it won't completely remove your waterproof eye make up. However, it did completely remove my foundation so you can remove your foundation with this oil and it's better to remove your eye make up with a different product.
After rinsing, my skin felt super soft! I just loveeeee how it felt, it didn't feel dry nor greasy or something, just SUPER SOFT AND CLEAN O__O!
Well what about the pores? Did it de-clog my pores? That's what you're probably wondering at the moment. The way it supposed to work is that the type of oil is close enough to sebum that when it sinks into your pores, it softens the sebum's grip on the walls of your pores, making plugs loosen inside the pore. Then as you manually work the skin, it agitates the plug up to the surface and out. I massaged my nose area for around 40 minutes and i only felt very little bumps coming off which was probably white/black heads. However, it was just a few while I could still see whiteheads on my nose. Therefore, this product didn't really work for me. The results wasn't really obvious and my hands were very tired after 40 minutes as well. Maybe it will work better if you massage it for an hour or longer but it's too tiresome to do it.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I'm a bit disappointed since it didn't really de-clog all of my pores but it did remove my foundation so I can use it as a normal cleanser. I really love the feeling of my face after rinsing the product off. It just feels super soft and clean and it had never felt that soft before haha. Also, the soda scent is pleasant to me since i've always loved the scent of Japanese soda ^^. If you're not a soda lover, you might not like this product.

Don't buy if you don't like soda scented products.
Don't buy if you are searching for a product that de-clogs your pores (quickly)
Buy if you're searching for an oil based cleanser that removes your foundation.
Buy if you want to have a soft and clean skin.
